The first day I was on Pownce I added everybody that asked to be my friend just because it was a new site. After the first day though, I get a bunch of friend requests and I won't approve them unless I make sure they're sending a friend request out of "genuineness" and not sending out a million requests at once.

I'm not on Twitter, just Jaiku. How are the two audiences different? I'm curious because they seem the same on the outside to me. I'm not on Myspace or Facebook either, I just find making your life public creepy. And I don't post to Jaiku, I just read other people's stuff and comment here and there.

I downloaded VMware Player for free at http://www.vmware.com/products/player/. I can now run Ubuntu from within a virtual environment and not have to bother with a dual boot. I can just bring up VMware within WinXP and boot Ubuntu from there. Plus, VMware can be shutdown and exited and the next time you start up VMware you will restart from where you left off, eliminating the need of having to reboot Ubuntu. Very convenient. The only downside is beryl does not work inside virtual environments if I'm not mistaken.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889234001 That is the monitor I own. It's a 37" Westinghouse that has a native resolution of 1920x1080, otherwise known as 1080p. It's great, I use it to play HDDVD movies, Xbox games, and as my monitor.

Thanks for the ipod video information, I didn't know the PSP could do that. That makes things a lot easier, I purchased Sony's Media Manager so I could convert video for the PSP. But if I could just subscribe to iPod video RSS feeds, then I wouldn't have to waste time converting. I plan on buying a car mount because right now I just stream the podcasts to my car radio through an FM transmitter, so the quality isn't the greatest. Plus, I keep hitting the shoulder buttons which then skips to the next track and then I have to try to fast forward back through my podcast to the spot I was at, which totally sucks to do while driving. Plus, there is a car navigation program available which I'm looking forward to playing with. The only problem though is I don't think it will do the navigation and play a podcast at the same time, I'll have to choose one or the other.

I think the PSP has a lot of potential. Skype could possibly be coming to the PSP soon and it already supports GPS which is a great add-on. One thing that makes me mad though is that if I'm listening to a podcast and then I exit the music player and play a video or play a demo, I lose that spot in the MP3 and I have to fast forward to where I was.
